vandinz Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 Just got hold of the new ENBSeries mod for Skyrim that adds graphical effects and wondered if anyone else had tried it? Boris the creator has stated it's in heavy beta testing so expect crashes, which I have to be honest I'm yet to have. However it seems a little 'white washed' on my system. Has anyone else got this? TheJudaime Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 I messed with it all morning, its still very buggy and caused me many CTD. The overall effect is extremely washed out, the ssao is buggy. I tried running it as standalone, then tried to run it in conjuction with bugfix patch 9 by proxy in enbseries.ini, then in the enbpatch.ini I proxy'd the smaa injector. Overall, it will need much tweaking and a lot of bugfixing before its ready to be used. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Installation is very confusing as there a lot of d3d9.dll files to install and I'm not sure if they are supposed to all be ran in parallel or not. Also I'm not sure how the patch and series ini files should relate to each other; there is a section in the text to recognize other ini files that are needed. Lots of CTD and SSAO wouldn't work even when the game ran. I think I'll wait until someone posts a guided installation or a newer more complete version is released.
