qwertywun
I am currently PyFFI'ing & repacking the oblivion, KOTN & SI mesh BSAs & I found out that the newest version of PyFFI - py3k filters out non meshes and meshes tagged not to PyFFI so that in theory only meshes that should be PyFFI'ed will end up in the OUT folder. Once i have installed oblivion with mods will it filter meshes that cant be PyFFI'ed from my meshes folder automatically like with the oblivion, KOTN & SI BSAs or will I have to go through the meshes & filter out what can't be PyFFI'ed by hand? Finally, if I do have to filter what meshes to PyFFI by hand what mesh folders should I avoid?
qwertywun
turns out that the game just crashes with the optimized oblivion BSA & since it takes so long to run PyFFi I can't be asked to make multiple attempts to try get it to work. Axxaw
Did you move the files not edited by PyFFI into the out folder when you made the new bsa? If you didn't it would have definitely crashed the game.
qwertywun
nope I moved the files from the out folder into the in folder.
Axxaw
When you rebuilt the bsa did the file paths start with the meshes folder? If the paths started with the "in" folder that could have caused the problems. I seem to recall having that problem before.
qwertywun
nope I made sure everything was right. since it's not working for me i have been using fps Poly Gone Ext, in this mod there is a fix for Intel chipsets which i need so im guessing it could be a problem with my pc running PyFFi-ed meshes.
