kingdark
Okay, so I had no problem playing the thieves quest. I did the quest where Mercer betrayed me and so I had to go to Morhal I think. (the one with those mines) but I already did quests there related to the foresworn. now everytime I arrive there I'm arrested (again) because I committed murder. Now, I didn't but I figured hey to hell with it so why not submit and go to jail. But that doesn't work. everytime I try it just says it again. so it's on a loop. I have NO idea how to fix this and I am on level twenty and did dozens of quests by now. so starting over is NOT an option. I don't have a save anymore from the time I was playing in morthal (if it is morthal I'm not sure. but its the city with those mines and the quest that's related to the foresworn) What the hell am I supposed to do now? I can't kill the city guards because there are too many of them. and I need the help from the court wizard. and I am damned sure that he won't want to help me if the entire city guard is after my character. So... What now? I suppose I could just ignore the city, but I haven't exactly explored that city yet decently and to leave a whole city alone means at least a dozen quests that I cannot accept. help? kingdark
I do NOT have an earlier save and that was levels ago! (many levels in fact) I really don't want to start al over again now that I finally got my destruction at over level sixty. It only took me twenty levels of dedicated use of destruction magic but I finally got it. (Destruction magic levels REALLY slowly in later levels.) The problem as I can see it is in the quest itself. I can do whatever I like as long as I don't go to that city. and unless I used TGM aka god mode I wouldn't be able to slaughter that many guards. and even if I did, wouldn't they come back after a while if I left for a while to let things cool down? (though I thhink that murder doesn't cool down at all) I could just ignore the quest but that would mean abandoning ALL thief related quests! kingdark
This should solve it I think. Thanks! (if not I'll update this) edit:This fixed the bug. But what about playstation or xbox 360 users? I mean, if they got this problem can they access the console as easily as pc gamers can?
