At first I just gave a little shudder and passed it off, but I've now realised that they genuinely scare me, and make me feel revolted. Except the little ones - they are cute! I'm also afraid of spiders irl, and I used to hate Daddy Long Legs, but I don't mind them anymore. I was wondering if anyone else gets creeped out by the Giant Mantises and their long legs, or by other creatures found in FNV and other games? BipolarOne Posted October 2, 2016 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Read about them. The Velvet Ant (cow killer) is actually a wasp with a tough exoskeleton. The male has wings to fly around, but the female doesn't an hence only crawls around on the ground. The stinger is very long an retracts into it's butt end whatever that is called, covered with red an black hairs that resemble velvet. The 4th or 6th most painful sting and is in North America too. I think the Bull Ant has the worst sting, but I forget the details. The black widow, The Brown Recluse, or The European Queen Hornet that migrated to North America. There are probably all kinds of dangerous things in the world where you are currently at. In my case I spend a lot of time just trying to avoid things that want to kill or hurt me so I get used to stomping on clothing or relying on my predatory nature in order to survive. And yes, video games scare me sometimes, irony, the unexpected result, it's not real, and it scares the s#*! out of me sometimes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
