drewmeister11
So I encountered this problem with my mods in which my eyes sometimes seem a bit... lopsided. As in, it looks as though they are shifted too far to a side, and I can see PART of the iris at the corners but on the outer edges of the eye it's black, as though there's no texture at all. I recall finding a similar mod in Oblivion related to vampire eyes, but I'm not sure what's causing this one (I even disabled any mods that affected character mesh). Anybody else having same issue? rebalious
You said you disabled mesh mods have you tried deleting or renaming the eye texture folder? Data\textures\actors\character\eyes
drewmeister11
You said you disabled mesh mods have you tried deleting or renaming the eye texture folder? Data\textures\actors\character\eyes Did a full re-install, deleted everything in the Skyrim folder first. Didn't install any mods that altered characters. Still got the effect. Should mention it never happens right away, i'll just look at my character at some point after a few minutes and they somehow just wound up that way. Quitting to main menu and reloading fixes it right up, it's strange.

Because there is a glitch that screws up the eye mesh when you do, happened to me and I thought it was mods, then my computer dying on me. Turned out it was none of those, just another Bethesda glitch gone undocumented. Refrain from using invisible spells or potions. If you have the shadow warrior perk (which I did) use "player.removeperk 00058214".
smokepanther
I just wanted to add...if this is indeed, the same black, almost insideout looking eyes bug...I have found that transforming to either vamp lord or werewolf then reverting back to normal will reset your eyes to normal...not a fix but quicker than a full shutdown...I was wondering what caused this...if it IS shadow warrior (invis)...i'll just have to deal...that perk is one of my faves
