Stargazer09
I'm looking for a mod, if it exists, that adds structures for the player to use to repair existing buildings in settlements that have gaping holes in the floor, roof and walls, such as Croup Manor and Coastal Cottage.I'm aware that there are mods where the author has already done the repair, but as I've already progressed quite a bit in developing my settlements I'm concerned that installing the mod(s) might undo my work and create conflict issues within the settlement.I've repaired flat roofs, floors and walls using vanilla & DLC walls and carpets or wooden floors respectively, in conjunction with Place Anywhere. But the pitched roofs are a different matter entirely and I've had not much success in using barn & warehouse roof parts as repair items.Any suggestions please? Thanks. Oh, by the way, is there any way to remove those piles of debris in buildings that can't be scrapped or deleted by console?
TwilightOne
I'm thinking about making one with minimal effort... For that you'd need the creation kit to place the "repair" parts, add them to a layer or a group so you don't forget them. Then add a script with an activation when say the player opens the workbench, or when you activate a certain object. That script would check your resources, and remove the appropriate amount, then "enable" the objects you placed in the CK so that now you'd have a way ingame of fixing the structures.A problem though is figuring out the navmesh. You'd need to use navmeshed objects for your repairs or NPC's wouldn't walk on the repaired parts.
