Bloodgod888
It doesn't work!!!Their damn clothes keep coming back; partially or completely'I did as you said 1. Open console and typed inv 2. Clicked on the NPC 3. Typed "removeallitems" 4. Equipped new clothes ( That I wanted ) 5. Closed console. When I returned, I found that it didn't stay the way I changed it to.What do I do to make their default clothes disappear FOREVER?Also ( If you know this ) how do I delete something without it ever returning once the area resets? For example, I revamped ( literally ) the entire Fort Dawngurad and made Volkihar's New castleI resurrected the Dawnguard members and turned them into vampires.Anyway, I deleted those Dawnguard flags by "markfordelete" and over a course of time, some will return to the spot that I put new flags. How do I get rid of that s#*! permanently? Darklocq
When I write removeitem (the numbers next to the clothes she is wearing) 1 when I do this it only takes of the main clothes not the bra and everything.... What am I doing wrong? You're using the original vanilla bodies. You need to install either Dimonized UNP or Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Edition (CBBE), or some variant thereof, to replace the vanilla bodies and their permanent underwear textures. Doesn't matter much which you install. CBBE is said to be more of a "fantasy" body (big and gravity-defying boobs) and UNP a bit more naturalistic, but there are so many variants for BodySlide now that you can get whatever shape you want. By this point, most really good outfit work has been converted back and forth, and the best of it is available for BodySlide so you can just make it fit whatever downloaded or custom variant body you are using. ThisIsEli
ok let me elaborate the question on behalf of the non mod community for you big brains. In console, when changing the cloths of the npcs and toggling off clipping, you can see that the underwear texture disappears. Does anyone know of a way to stop the underwear from coming back when the equipped clothing is unequipped? It has nothing to do with modded skins or new textures. The underwear clearly disappears when cycling through clothing leaving a very small gap between the npc and the clothing. But again this can only be seen when disabling clipping. For instance, The Multi-Utility tool allows you to +,- anything in the game, could it somehow be used to disable the reintroduction command of the underwear? SilverThorn12345
It appears just dumping everything into a container works also. (so far)
NexusComa
AND here is the bad news ... When you add items like this via the console you are adding errors to your saves. If you look at the items listed with inv it says invalid. You are looking at references. If you were to use the help "whatever item" you will get the actual item codes. All npcs have a default outfit set in the creation kit. They will always revert back to that. But all this is totally hacking and that never works out with Skyrim. The best way to do this is via mod .. I've looked at most all of them and the one I use is AmazingFollowerTweaks. This one will let you set gear and also home or town gear. Been using it for a while now and all my error logs are clean. Good stuff!
