Swapping Item Texture

Having earned my Archmage Robes, and detesting the way they look, I was wondering how hard it would be to reassign the texture for the item to be the Psijic Order robes.

 

Is this something I can do with a couple of quick console commands, or would I need to create a mod? How simple would it be to create the mod?
