Yes, provided it was lore friendly, like it was called "The bat armour" rather then "TOMZG! BATMANS SUIT!"

 

Also, yes its a cool idea, kind of reminds me of how leatherwing worked: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_Leatherwing
