ita44
Ok, so Skyrim used to run perfectly for me with 1.1 (skipped 1.2) but after getting the 1.3 patch, it's been nearly unplayable. Namely it stuttering and lagging so much when it shouldn't. Well, I managed to get rid of most of the problems by disabling mouse acceleration and some other changes but one still remains.. The game runs smoothly for the most part now but when looking down so I can see only the ground or standing near large surfaces, it starts to stutter and lag a lot. If it was a problem with too high settings, shouldn't it be the opposite? And any ideas how to fix it?
Rennn
Weird... maybe it's loading the environment in all directions rather than just where you're looking because it can't decide which way you'll look next? That's all I can think of, but it might be some other strange issue.

That's the thing, when looking at a distance, with many objects, people animals etc. running around, the FPS is over 60, however when looking down and seeing only the flat, low resolution (relatively) ground, it drops to like 4-5.
