1. ROTK

2. TTT

3. FOTR

i absolutely loved the battle of pellenor fields in ROTK, but the Warg ambush in TTT was really sweet, with legolas on that hilltop sniping the warg riders, then flipping onto the horse... that was awesome. FOtR was a little too slow for me, but I did like Moria.

Let's see....

1. Return of the king

2. Fellowship of the ring

3. The two towers

My mayor issue with return of the king is that it is to short! Should have included the shire vs Saruman scene and the arrival of the province troops(Imrahil++++) of Gondor in Minas Tirith. But overall, im very, very happy with the movie. Seeing it for the 5th time tomorrow. :D

Mayor bummers in the fellowship in the ring - Poor old Glorfindel- :(

The two towers is at the bottom of the list because of what they did to Faramir and the whole Osgiliath scene. Bullpoo! And the pathetic "exorcism" of Theoden. :P

Overall, im very happy with Peter Jackson's visual companion to the books. ;)

:nazgul:

I don't hate TTT, but I think the other two films were better. FotR and RotK were absolutely superb, TTT was extremly good, but doesn't reach the other two films (because of those scenes I can't stand like Faramir and Treebeard).

At the moment, as ROTK Director`s cut has not emerged and I haven`t seen TTT Director`s Cut

I think FoTR is the best. Quite, quite close to the book and there is Moria :) The part is really good and RoTK with no end of Saruman is not good enough.

I liked RotK best of the three. Although I did get quite sick of seeing Sam and Frodo grabbing onto a cliffside, with Sam yelling "No Mr.Frodo!!!" "Come on now Mr.Frodo!!" "I'm not leaving you Mr. Frodo!!".

And I was quite disapointed about the Scouring of the Shire not being included, although I suspected it wouldnt be.

However the scene at the Grey Havens, when Frodo, said goodbye to Sam, Pippin and Merry, I found quite emotional.. Im not afraid to admit I had tears in my eyes. Peter Jackson did a terrific job overall.
