I have to agree, upping the health of every monster wouldn't really help. There's only so many blows *anything* can take.

 

Would be sweet if perhaps you could see if you were being detected by something in front of you, in your field of vision. But you won't know if you're being detected by something behind you.

I found this damage multiplier mod makes combat more fast and dangerous than vanilla (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5965).

This mod increases the usefulness of mechanics like block, parry, alchemy, ect. However player damage output seems to get out of hand later with better gear one hitting a lot of enemies. Cant wait for the difficulty overhaul mods that will inevitably come out of the CK.
