Fallout 4 Mods that may cause darker faces/no eyebrows?

Hey!

So I'm new to Fallout 4 on PC and thus new to mods. I've made all the neccessary changes to all the .ini files etc, and most of my mods work fine. In fact, ALL of my mods worked fine until I got to about the start of the game where you meet BoS in the police station... That's when I started noticing that my character had a MUCH darker skintone than the rest of my body. Piper and Haylen have excessive freckles/no eyebrows, and Paladin Danse had darker skin/no eyebrows too.
Now from what I gather in my limited knowledge, the IDs for each appearance feature must be clashing with one another, but why is this only occurring SOMETIMES? For instance, when we went indoors, Paladin Danse was normal but my face was still dark.

Now keep in mind I have several mods installed that alter appearances including a NPC companion overhaul, and I just don't know which mods are clashing with one another. You could blame it on the companion mod overhaul, but if that's the case then why did my character's facial skincolor go WAY darker?

 

The mods I have that alter appearance are;

CBBE
Valkyr female face and body (but only use the face textures, since I got CBB already)
Freshlook NPC overhaul - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11367/? <- I actually installed all the recommended mods for it too, immersive teeth, Valkyr's, eyes and makeup)

I also have some mods that may alter the lighting of an area, such as vividweather and one that makes indoor lighting darker, but I don't think this is the cause of the issue.

So, someone got any advice?


EDIT: I noticed that though it says Valkyr's face textures are installed, it doesn't appear they are in the loading queue... I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod through NMM but it's still not appearing in the loading queue. I wonder if this could be causing the dark face/no eyebrow bug... But if that's the case, I have a new problem on my hands.

same thing happens to me, but it's whenever i try ANY skin texture mod.
