Nartusk
Hey.So, I've modded Fallout 4 way back, not long after it's release. I thought I'd redownload the game to test out new mods etc. The problem is my mods doesn't work.I've added the fallout4custom ini file with the required lines, removed the old lines, tested back and forth.I've tested with and without F4SE, launching in steam and through the manager. I tested redownloading mods, reinstalling the game, purging all the mods before redownloading etc...Any ideas would be appreciated a lot :) Thanks! Zeppelin1996
Did you edit the Fallout4Prefs.ini? You need to add the line "bEnableFileSelection=1" under the section labeled [Launcher].

Skexer
I fixed my problem! I'm not sure what exactly fixed it but it was a combination of things that seems to have worked. Dunno, it may help you I hadn't played Fallout in a while. I did have the ini edits so that wasn't it. In the game, in the mods section none of my mods where highlighted. All greyed out. Didn't know what it meant at the time, but they were all inactive. Reinstalled the game, uninstalled all mods. Brough the game to the newest version. Now all the mods are highlighted. It must have had something to do with the plugins.txt or loadorder.txt in AppData\Local\Fallout4 Perhaps they changed something about those 2 files. My mods where not active? Well now it works.
