undifined
Remember to save first before doing anything suggested here !!!-------- a) Nirnroot halo becomes a mini nova. Situation: After hours and hours of playing the nirnroots become brighter and brighter. This happens if you pass near a place with a nirnroot but you don't pick up the plant. This is due the multiple objects created to represent the nirnroot halo(es). To fix the problem:- pick up the nirnroot- position yourself near the halo and make sure in the back of the halo you see only air, land, or water.- open the console (~) repeat the following step- enter disable, click on the halo (the id should be ff00####) and press enter until one the following is true: visually it looks OK, there are no more haloes you keep getting the same id you get an id like this 0000#### you get nothing clicking on the same place Changing the halo textures to a transparent one won't fix the problem, you're still going to have multiple objects (haloes) stacked in the same place but you won't be able to see them. #### is a combination of numbers and letters. b) Louis Letrush and his clones. Situation: Louis camps in front of the Whiterun stables half-buried in the ground surround by a number of his clones. The problem is similar with the nirnroot one, to fix it you'll need to pick up Letrush from the ground and remove its clones. You can't actually pick up Letrush like a plant but there are a couple of ways to remove him from the ground. For example, here's a way without using the console:Put some distance between you and the Luis group so you won't get a bounty. Shoot an arrow to him, the impact(if it is powerful enough) will pull off Louis from the ground. Go to the Louis group, open the console (~), enterdisable (click a Louis) and press enter.Make sure its id looks like ff00####, that Louis is safe to remove, if it's like this 0000#### that is the original and you may want to keep him. In the end there should be only one left. c) Irremovable quest items from the inventory Situation 1: quest is finished but the items are still in the inventory. removing weapons: in this case you need to own a house. Equip the weapon/shield(one-hand weapons should be equipped in the right hand) and activate the weapon rack. The weapon will be removed from your inventory and placed on the rack. removing non-weapons:- press F to enter in the 3rd person mode.- open console (~) enter showinventory and click on yourself.- get the ids (use pgup and pgdown to navigate up and down on the output) of the items you want removed.A classic example are the bard quest items (drum, lute, flute) left in your inventory- remove the items. For removing the drum, lute, and the flute:player.removeitem 000DABA9 1 (press enter)player.removeitem 000DABAB 1 (press enter)player.removeitem 000DABA7 1 (press enter)(the ids may not be the same; use the show inventory command to get them) Situation 2: no quest given, there are quest items in inventory. For weapons see the above. For non-weapons: - do nothing (a sensible approach) - use removeitem (not advisable) - change their weight to 0 (not tested) ------------------If something is not clear better ask first before doing anything you'll regret later.
