worcottle Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Have a new mod I'm working on. I am quite satisfied now with it as it appears very stable and bug-free. It is actually a modified version of a pre-existing mod. I don't want to mention names just yet, but I've had great support from the original creator on this project. However, I want to make it compatible with another mod so that items from both mods can exist at the same time. Currently, my version uses the same item IDs as the original. I need to change this, but am unsure what to do without just going the trial and error route. I could go to the original modder for help, but I'm trying to minimize the bombardment of questions directed towards them. Hopefully, I can save myself time and headache by getting some good advice from you guys. The details of the mod are probably best left for PM, but if anyone has links to some good guides/tutorials for unique item creation or doesn't mind me contacting them with more specific info, please let me know here.
