Groovygravy Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 One of you geniuses out there please help. I used the "Dead Thrall" spell to animate 2 bodies. It was the first time I had ever even tried the raise zombie type spell. I used them as mules for a little bit (killing them off, stocking them, raising 'em back up), then I just got tired of them and killed them off. The problem: under active effects in Magic, the 2 dead thrall spells are still active. It won't go away no matter what I conjure up or whatever. Every person in Skyrim says the same thing to me every time over and over - "That spell looks dangerous". Everybody, every time, even though the thralls have been gone for a while now. Everybody that I walk by says the same thing and it's kinda annoying. Suggestions?
Groovygravy Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 Found the answer: For some reason, if one castes "Lightning Cloak", the thrall active effect goes away.
Ragn0rus Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Thanks! saved me hours of looking for a way to get rid of this. I tried the "Flame Cloak" magic and it also worked. Found the answer: For some reason, if one castes "Lightning Cloak", the thrall active effect goes away.
Daemonicus1974 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Summon Thrall spells can occasionally become "stuck" on your character, causing NPCs to constantly remark "That spell looks dangerous!" ๐ PC Note Use the console command player.dispelallspells to remove all temporary effects. ๐ PlayStation Note If you can turn into a werewolf, it will remove the effect and thus stop the comments. ๐ Alternately, going to jail can get rid of this effect, as it dispels any active effects on you that are time-based. Because the Thrall effect is on your character for a certain amount of hours (that never count down), it is dispelled when sent to jail. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Conjuration
