Astralogic
Not sure if this is the correct forum for this post, but for the life of me, this problem seems so easy and so simple and yet so infuriating. I've been disabling a few things in Proudspire Manor to clean it up to my liking (such as the fog effect in the main room, a wall that was to divisive, spiderwebs, et such), but there are a few things that just evade my console-ing no matter how hard I try. 90% of the objects in the guest room in the basement are irremovable, even though I can target them with the console and change their scale, for some reason Disable does not affect them. The items are things like hay on the ground, crates, and non-intractable chairs. I was able to remove the cobwebs from that room, however. I also was not able to disable a bench on the entry level. I'm not sure why some of these items aren't disabling. I've tried disabling them, then reloading, leaving and coming back, exiting to main menu and reloading, but nothing seems to be working. I would settle for setting their scale to 0.00000000000000...1 but I'm concerned that that might cause problems later in some way. Any help is appreciated. Astralogic
Setting the scale to some infinitesimally small number does not work because my character still collides with them as if they were larger, and the option to open items and such is still available, no matter how small they are. Still unable to disable some objects.
3nvy
+1 Have the exact same problem :S Edit: Found a way to remove them. Just select the object, open the console, type "markfordelete". Then quicksave and quickload and the object will disapear ;) Hope it helped Edited December 16, 2011 by 3nvy
