n2nw Posted December 10, 2011 Share Posted December 10, 2011 I've been trying to get the Jarl of Markarth's shield quest (so I can buy a house) and I've done everything except give him a pedicure yet *still* the steward finds jobs for me... The last job was to kill the dragon at Dragontooth Crater, but I had already done so a lot earlier in my game (way too many saves ago). However, my journal wasn't telling me to return to the steward, so I went to the location and lo and behold, another dragon spawned. So, I killed the wabbit....er, dragon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2VMqQ6XnmI&NR=1&feature=endscreen) but my journal won't update. I tried reverting to an earlier save to perhaps spawn a different quest, but even after several reloads, he still wants that darn dragon! So...is there any way to just manually update the journal?
