Working Lanterns

Ok, I can't be the only one that, when escaping the keep at the beginning of the game, saw a lantern lying on the ground and thought "oh sweet, light source!" only to find it was a random misc item worth less than it's weight.

So yeah, I was hoping someone could make a working lantern mod which could hopefully be expanded to other lantern models.

haha I felt the same way when I found my first lantern. I didn't even realize torches were in the game until I accidentally plucked one off the wall. Since your eyes adjust to the darkness fairly quickly, I just assumed that was all the help you got aside from spells. But yeah, a use for the lanterns would be amazing; I can see it looking similar to the lantern in Amnesia: Dark Descent, with your hand holding the handle on top and it swaying back and forth as you move, causing the shadows to move erratically on the walls.

I so agree with you guys. I would also like it for there to be different types of lanterns... from the cheap-looking one you see in game already to fancy glass ones like those ones:

I think the fancy ones would be pretty good to have for homes. that way instead of torches or those stupid horn candles, you would have those pretty lanterns hanging around the home and giving your home some lovely mood lighting.

I would love to see working/lit lanterns and torches that you could place, or an activate script that toggles the placement of unlit models to lit models. That way you could light the torches, lanterns, braziers ect that are all over the dungeons. With all the "darker nights/dungeons, welcome to the mod so dark that it forgot to invite the players to the game" mods there are, this would be great.
