  1. 1. For PC players, which do you use.

    • Keyboard + mouse
    • Game controller

Played 150 Hours with the K+M, but I got a 360 controller adapter to play SR:3 with, and tried on Skyrim... and never looked back!

The menu system makes sense now! It was 100% designed with a controller in mind.

So yeah I recommend a controller (and a good config/hot key remap from here) it streamlines the playing experience and is a lot more intuitive, the games not an FPS, i doesn't require mouse accuracy, in fact that god awful Arrow auto aim, may just be explained by the fact this is a game with a console in mind, as you can't be quite as precise, quickly, with an analogue stick, so it makes up for it with idiot proof, skill negating coding.

Anyway, I feel I can actually get my favourites accessed quicker on pad, rather than 1-8 on keyboard, and I'm using my shouts more.

Obviously meant only for PC players. Got interested of how many plays this with game controller even on PC after seeing some related fixes in nexus.

I am playing with keyboard and mouse. And I surely won't spend another 40 bucks to buy a controller, just because Bethesda forgot that there are pc players out there.

The UI is designed for a controller, but can very easily be used with equal precision using the WASD keys. You know, those keys that your left hand rests on when playing with a keyboard and mouse anyway. If you use both hands properly when playing, the UI (which despises mouses with a passion) is not an issue. Using both hands extensively gives you the streamlined experience a controller gives you, with the accuracy of a mouse.

Rather patronising. Thankyou, I am a trained touch typist whose fingers in my heyday moved at the speed of light. I know all about how to use a keyboard. Unfortunately I now have rheumatoid arthritis, so please try telling my borked immune system that I should be using both hands properly. Knowing what you should do and being able to do it is another matter entirely.

The UI has been rightly caned by a gaming for the disabled article.

Using mouse and keyboard, with difficulty. (And yes they are good quality ones.)

I play with both. The only problem I found with the K+M was the odd mouse quiver where it would become distorted. Then it was magically fixed, maybe by a patch.
