The Legend of Zelda - A Skyrim Modification

Linkxp500 raises another good point that I considered making about the hair model, but I felt like I was criticizing too much already (constructively, I hope!) for someone who just joined and has no modding talent whatsoever.

As far what items I'd like to see... hm, there's a good question. A functioning hook/clawshot would probably be the coolest item, even if it could just latch to anything, despite how gamebreaking that might be. A bow would be kind of a wash given how many of the bows in Skyrim already look like they could be in a Zelda game (Elven, Glass, Imperial, Dwarven come to mind). A boomerang with a 1 second paralyze for some good ol' fashioned overpoweredness could be fun for laughs (perhaps balanced with a high magicka/stamina cost?). There's so many fun mechanics that could be brought over, but these are just ideas for future things. I'll just be happy to have that tunic! :D

Oh! And I do have a request. Could the tunic possibly be compatible for female characters, as well?

Yep, the tunic will be compatible with both male and female, also light and heavy body types.

you might want to mirror the model of the tunic and the gauntlets. The gauntlets mostly because the armored one is supposed to give Link a little added protection on his unshielded hand, and the tunic because the strap for his sword sheathe

That makes -so- much sense. I had not thought of that. I'll definitely fix that up. Cheers!

Oh, and one more thing, will you be able to create a hair model that would fit well with Link's hat?

Hmm, I'll see what I can do about this. I think I saw a bunch of dismemberment nodes for hair when I converting the hat the first time.

This is a non replacer right?

It will be :) Once the CK is out. The current modding tools are Not Fun to use. So that update has been put on hold for a little while longer.

Eh, Link is left-handed. Meaning he uses his left hand for the sword.

He's only right-handed on the Wii because of the stupid Wiimote. :wallbash:

Oh well, it's not like you can hold your shield in your right hand ingame anyway.

Edit: Great work btw. :)

Believe me, I'd prefer to have it using Tyen's model as it is and with the shield in the right hand as Link should be, but given the games odd decision with not letting you use a shield in either hand, this is probably the easiest solution. Doing it this way would probably also reduce clipping on the shield due to that extra armguard not being there, but that's a hypothetical because I really have no idea what I'm talking about. haha

Oh, and you're most welcome Tyen. Just wanna help it be the best it can be before it gets released. If I can't really model or texture or anything, this is the least I can do.

I just saw the modeled tunic on the previous page and my jaw basically dropped to the floor. I hadn't checked up on this forum post because I wasn't sure if one was created or not, sad to say I wish I would have before so I wouldn't have submitted already-sent material. Haha. Whatever the case, I hope my images and thoughts bring some sort of light to this blind road that we steadily walk forward in. On the contrary, poster at the top of this page, you are not the only one who requested Claw Shots. I have as well. :)

I'm so looking forward to this. Soooooo looking forward to this.
