doright
Ok this past couple of weeks I have been testing out different mods for increasing my building budget in settlements. The problem is I think one of them left a script behind after being uninstalled because now my settlement budget automatically decreases whenever I hit the yellow stage on the bar. Now normally this would be fine but often when it does it the build menu locks up and I lose control of my mouse until I escape out of build mode. Also I don't know if it's related but on one of the saves I was testing, home plate also glitched and is now telling me no more items can be built there. Settlement budget adjustment mods I've tested out have been. Workbench Control PanelSettlements ExpandedSettlement EquipmentIncreased Build Limit Enhanced 4K That last one is what I had been using but I was trying out the others too because they had a few other features and or to see if I could cut down on the ESP's. Each of those had something I had to physically do myself to lower the budget.. they did not do it automatically. I started from a clean save for each one to try it out. I thought it also could be something baked into my save but even loading a clean save it is still doing it. I also have or tried these mods that deal directly with settlementsSettlement Management SoftwareDon't Call Me Settler(Names-Jobs-Tools)Place EverywhereScrap EverythingCheat Terminal but none of them say anything about messing with the building budget that I can find. Does anyone know of a mod that auto lowers the budget for you? if it is a left behind script it will help find it or if it's a hidden (or I missed it) feature in another I'd at least like to know. The rest of my mods are just weapons, textures, armor or settlement objects and I can't find any that say they touch the budget. Thank you. TheNukaDude
Why use an .esp when the console works without adding to your LO. Click on Workshop while in the console, then use command:setav 349 3675555555.00setav 34B 3675555555.00getav 349getav 34B Hit enter after each command you enter. ::EDIT:: If you play on survival, you will need a mod to enable the console though. tarsis31
It's Don't Call Me Settler, just had to do some changes to allow people to use my mod without DCMS causing freakouts. from lasse1001If you got the problem where the settlement size is increased over and over, just use this then:Open console and type the command below, exit console, save the game, then reload the game.to disable type:set iSRCBudget to 0This value will be stored in your save, so you only have to do this once per gameplay. Dig into the posts in DCMS and you'll find the scripts that were left behind that can do this.
