Oblivion Crashing

Hello,

I've been playing oblivion for awhile now, and for some reason it keeps crashing, sometimes after 15 mins of playing, sometimes after 2 hours.

it also crashes sometimes when loading a previous savegame

you can find the currently loaded mods in the attachment

I'm crashing also; it's mostly after loading a new area when this happens.

My mods loaded are as follow

Beatiful People

DLC Shivering Isles

Dungeon Actors have torches 1.6 CT

HrmsOblivionScriptOptimizationv1.0

MIS

Natural Weather

No psychic guards

oblivion citadel door fix

oblivion

quiet feet

stealthoverhall

streamline 2.1 (set to normal)

Unofficial oblivion patch

The INI file is not modified in any way and I got most of the video settings turned down to where I keep good FPS in and out doors

There are many reasons why Oblivion crashes, but some of the main things are:

A) because of incompatible mods,

B) because of conflicting mods, or...

C) because your comp doesn't meet the minimum requirements (which are actually higher than what is written on the box).

That is quite a big list of mods (precisely 5x what I have running o_O ) , so this is most likely a case of conflicting mods. It would help by posting up your system specs also, just to rule that out.

well, i know it's not my pc's specs, but here they are:

os: Microsoft Windows XP Professional - Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600)

cpu: AMD 64 bits @ 2 GHz

gfx: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT 128MB

ram: MDT 256 mb and MDT 512 mb, for a total of 768 MB

hdd: Maxtor diamondmax 80 gb and maxtor diamondmax 160 gb

also, for some reason the mod conflictor from the oblivion mod manager isn't working, it tends to crash, are there any other conflictor detectors to use?

I got just about the same computer specs

os: Windows XP Pro

cpu: Pentium 4 HT

vpu: NVIDIA 6600 GT >.> "thinking this might be the problem?"

ram: 4gigs DDR

hdd: 200g serial

My video card is updated to the latest version; I thought it was a driver problem at first.. I also used a tool to clean it up before the new install. Going to try and play the game without any modifications at all and see how it works out, but from what I can remember it was crashing then too.

I fixed my crashing problem; it seemed as if it was my save file. I loaded an earlier one and it didn't "crash" going outside or loading a new area whatsoever. So yea, that might be something to look in to. I was thinking it was the 6600 cards for a second.
