Thandal
DA Modder (DAM) can handle ".dazip" files, or ones that need to be treated as a ".dazip" but are packaged as a ".zip". (It knows to rename them.) DAO-ModMananger (DAMM) handles files in ".dazip" and ".override" formats, (the latter are unique to this utility) but won't re-name ".zip" files for you. In any case, either of these two only handle a fraction of the mods out there for Dragon Age, since most are NOT of these types, and are simply placed in the player's "\override" folder as-is. Personally, I use DAMM since I employ a few ".override" mods on occasion.
Tchos
I have both installed, and use them both. They don't conflict with each other. The .override files can actually be created with DAO-ModManager, and that's what I do with all mods that ordinarily place files in the override folder. Packing them in a file that can be managed by the manager allows me to easily install and uninstall them as needed, and also measure mod conflicts.
