I didn't say he had depth. One can jolly well be a bigot while having a one-track mind. In fact it helps.

 

That said, I kinda wonder why Maxson wanted to kill Danse. They say they have something against machines with free will, and FSM knows that poor Danse is more of an automaton than your average Protectron.
