Elias555 Posted October 10, 2016 Share Posted October 10, 2016 As the title suggest, I'm looking to play a defensive, crowd control ice build and I'm looking for mods that will enhance that.Forgotten magic redone cryomancer spells sounds great, combined with Smart Casts rings system would allow for hotkey style spell casting. I don't think this character suits firing spells from the hands. A defensive and crowd control build so I'll end up using Aetherium shield and Stalhrim heavy armour but I'm open to other suggestions. I still haven't decided on a weapon. I am sick of swords, axes, maces and daggers. I was looking into morningstars but I couldn't find one that came with a perk system other than using the mace perks. Not sure one mod quests. I won't be playing a dragonborn. Ideas and suggestions welcome. Even if what I mentioned above 'covers' it, I'd still like to hear your ideas. I might end up using them as lower or higher tiers for the build.Thanks for reading! I'm A Tank Too allows you to taunt enemies and get them away from your followers. Still looking for a weapon and quests that suits the build. FrankFamily Posted October 12, 2016 Share Posted October 12, 2016 Regarding weapon, since the vanilla stalhrim maces are not really cool imo and you say were looking into morningstars, i think the mace of Aevar Stone-Singer (which is morrowind's stalhrim mace visually) would really fit. Used it a few years ago. Not a fan of the small head but I could use it as a starting weapon and lower the stats.The concept art looks nice. Maybe I can find something like the ash spawn weapons but retextured for ice or just try playing around with the hue myself. Honestly, I was going to go back to your ice blade but I think it's too nice, smooth and clean for what I'm going for. Ash spawn sword looks rough and cold(lack of emotion) and I think that suits more. I'm really trying to avoid making this a paladin but with ice instead of holy magic.
