But I´m sure it´s not possible to make all the Institute quests then..but for me that´s not relevant also not if you lose some other factin quests... I think it´s much more relevant to keep the Institute too as a faction.. or that you become the Director of the Institute without blowing it up... and for sure without destroying all the other factions.. i will explain a little my mode of thinking regarding this mod request. (For sure for this mod we need some good Questmodder also as Settlement modder and Scripter and last but not least some NEW voiced Dialogues.....) - It will/should be only a solution/way to come to this possible end. And because i don´t want to be such a big project that regards thousand of working hours i try to keep it simple to do and also mod it.. ( in my oppinion as NOT modder). - I hope the modders will agree with me they will find some time to bring this project to LIFE.# So becaus eof that we need to know that ingame is the solution already given to keep peacefully 3 factions.....so its a lot of reading now but understanding where the point is to start modding/triggering is essential to not do a lot of work that is already done by Bethesda... I will explain this mod as a walkthrough/scenario and mark the lines where modding is requested.... - I will start at this point: -read this : The Nuclear Option (Minutemen) | Fallout Wiki | Fandom powered by Wikia read the Article Keeping all three factions alive until you come to this point... Do any and all quests for the Institute up to Mass Fusion. That should be the trigger of the MOD´s quest.... ok so here we will choose to speak to the BOS instead and we will NOT take FILLMORE with us... (it s important for Spoils of War end) - The other factions should have only this main factions quest active like in the article - BOS - Tactical Thinking ( at the stage that you didn´t speak and avoid to speak with Kells) - RAILROAD - Underground Undercover that is already at the stage to be on hold until Powering Up is complete. - MINUTEMEN - no Quest Active but we should be at the stage that we completed INSIDE JOB for them. (waiting for trigger to Start FORM RANKS) other active random quests are unrelevant for this... And then is this a possible MOD scenario : - MASS FUSION QUEST : The MOD will break at this point the usual way so if you go to speak with BOS it WILL start Spoils of WAR but will not start Banished from the Institute automatically when you get up in the vertibird... Logically seen why should it ? because no one of the Institute knows that you betrayed them only when you get in the vertibird.... So thats the first point.. avold Banished from the Institute Quest to start at this point. and also don´t failed automatically then the MASS Fusion Quest. Also it is important to know that we will not erased the Quest Banished.... itself, only the Trigger at the Point of MASS Fusion Quest). So if you kill Father before or some other scientitst Banished from the Institute will still work and should happen. .. in MASS FUSION Building we will find a HOLOTAPE from a dead unfunctional NAMED synth that is placed there by the mod . The Holotape is titled Shauns Diary. ( And it should be explainable that the synth get in possesion to this holotape after he takes it directly from Shaun. because he was Shaun´s Nurse or bodyguard in the Institute at the Time Shauns lived) Here we will hear directly from our son what tis the Truth about the Institute and what happend to him. (He learn to make a diary from Kellog ) . There he will explain that he must suffer a lot of painfull experiments from a man named Father also he had heard that some scientits have spoken about that he will not survive the last experiments because they need some human cells from him to made the new 3rd gen Synths. ...blah ..blah.. ( some dramatic story.. ( it could take 3-4 minutes to listen to the whole holoband so if you are good on story writing here you can POINT this...) I give only the Idea...and that is we building up this mod on the fact that at the beginning of making this 3rd generation synths and also now the Institute need the original human body to create a perfect synthetic copy of it and this original human body will not survive the process of cloning or scanning how you will say.... that is then logically correct why people are so scared about the Institute synths and the fact that the One who was cloned or replaced are dissapeared forever.. (or better said dead and burried). - but to this idea later.. -at This point should be here clear that FATHER lies on us when he say he is Shaun... Sure we find it out also without this Holotape... because all other points does not match.. like not altered Kellog,..., people remembered in Diamond City about more then 60 years that Kellog and small Shaun was there... also the house are not selled again not even after 60 years ??? and last but not leased.... Dogmeat can smell on a cigar after 60 years and find then the way Kellog has done 60 years before ????.. Thats is really not funny...Here is a video for much more interesting interpretations....SPOILER Das ist nicht Shaun - Fallout 4 - YouTube . so here i will bring the idea to trigger a video like the end game video´s.. that shows you this arguments and explain much better.the situation. nothing special just did with ingame sequences.. that shows f.e. the meeting with Kellog or the snuffing Dogmeat at the Cigar and so on.. Ingame Video with Music and voice that explains.. I think is the best, easiest and proffesional way to do it. - then at thjis point you find the holotape this new quest starts.... a possible title for it.. or also for the mod is... THE Truth or Knowing......( This quest should be a replacer from banished of the Institute keeping the Quest structure Bethesda build together but not banish you from the Institue....). That should be stage 1 or 10 of the quest...The Player will say then... For this one you will pay blood FATHER... - continue as normal during the quest Spoils of War until the End .. Here should be something be added from the mod to the new Quest... and this should be a fake beryllium agitator. so stage 2 or 20 of the mod quest should be to find the empty agitator in the basement or where ever you like to place him.. this trigger then the next stage of the quest ...go speak and find allies.. and that should be.. go speak Dr. Madison Li , go speak with Virgil , much more explained at stage 3 of this quest That will be stage 2 of the mod quest . and gives the player logically a pretext ithat he has found 2 Beryllium agitator instead of one and he can now end both Quests MASS FUSION and SPOILS OF WAR. back to the Institute... (Fillmore was not with us because we don´t want it.. and with thisw new EMPTY agitator the normal start of the PINNED Quest should be given because Mass Fusion should then END here as normal... - Spoils of War should also normal End as described in WIKIA article ( we didn´t make any changes at this quest ... Keeping all 3 Factions alive... and then starting AD VICTORIAM for the BOS. ( but this end should add a trigger that 1. fails and end the Quest Tactical Thinking that should be active from Kells and 2nd.. start the Quest Form Ranks for the ;Minutemen..(So new trigger to start MM Form Ranks should be active: new mod Quest and ended up Spoils of War.) - as a effect of this actions until now and because you are not banished from the Institute Underground Undercover from the Railroad should be still active and not failed....also you should not be hostile with the Railroad and Tactical Thinking should be closed/failed... - so at this point i we should make the prior on the new MOD quest.. Stage 3 should be that we need to speak with much more people about getting information into this...(what happened with shaun and what kind of experiments are this) the persons should/ can be: - Dr. Madison Li (only when he is now a member of BOS ) - she will tell you that she was definetly not involved in the specific robotics section doing and point you to speak with Alan Binet or Max Loken. She tells you that te Institute sections does have and always keep his own secrets from each other. She was only responsable for the new child synth when he comes from robotics - Max Loken ( if he survived the Quest A House Divided) - he will refuse to involve you in the robotics section secrets until you are the Director of the Institute. He will not gives you Informations - Lawrence Higgs ( if he survived the Quest A House Divided) - he will tell you that he was definetly not involved in the specific robotics section doing and point you to speak with Alan Binet or Max Loken. - Newton Oberly ( if he survived the Quest A House Divided) - he will tell you that he can remember that Max Loken told him once that the robotics section does gruesome things.But Max doesn´t goes in details so the same here he point you to speak with Alan Binet or Max Loken. - the Synths in the sublevel 21-D - they will tell you that they didn´t know anything about it and point you to speak with Z1-14 - Z1-14 - wil point yo to speak with Liam Binet and don´t thrust anybody. - Deacon - will have the Information that the Institute Synth Retention is responsable for the human dissapearings and will point you to ask P.A.M. (because Tactical Thinking is closed/failed.) -Desdemona - will have the Information that the Institute Synth Retention is responsable for the human dissapearings and will point you to ask P.A.M. (because Tactical Thinking is closed/failed.) -P.A.M. - has no other informations but will point you to speak with Z1-14 (because Underground Undercover is still active) and also to speak with Virgil at the Glowing Sea. - Alan Binet - he will refuse to involve you in the robotics section secrets until you are the Director of the Institute. He will not gives you Informations. - Virgil after he is human again - will tell you that he only knows ( after speech check) that Father is/was very sick and he will do anything to keep hisself alive. He knows also that the robotics section is a product that begins from a secret project started between Father and Dr. Zimmer. (Fallout 3 character) years ago. He doesn´t know more informations about that but gives you the tipp to speak with Liam Binet maybe he can tell you more about this because he is Alan´s son and he knows that ALAN will not share you his robotic secrets. but maybe you will convince Liam to find a way At this point he will also tell you that if Father and Ayo will be dead/killed then he can imagine to return back to the institute again.. -Liam Binet - you can speak with him .He will tell you that his Father Alan doesn´t share Infos about the robotics section with him but he told him once that Father are ready to do gruesome things for the mankind and for the future. The only way to help you is that he knows where Alan keeps the secrets of his Work section and he can open the safe for you and steal some Informations from there if you want (needs speech check). So you need to come back in 3 days and he will then handover you some papers.Also he will tell you he read the documents and are now very dissapointed about that what Father and Ayo did and do... Also he knows he can lose his and his Father Alans life if he shared this Infos but that is the only thing he can do and he trust the player that he wiil choose the best solution regarding this. ( Implement a/more notes with this Text) When you then read then the papers it should come out ....the fact that at the beginning of making this 3rd generation synths and also now the Institute need the original human body to create a perfect synthetic copy of it and this original human body will not survive the process of cloning or scanning how you will say. And that the Synth Retention are involved in this doing the preliminar BadAssWork for the robotics section to catch ,scan and kill the persons (humans) that are needed supposed to be replicated. The process of scanning should be a little explained here f.e. after the victim was caught he will be bring to the Institute goes on the "special" chair" from the Retention section and there he will be scanned into a computer programm. BecaUSE OF USING THIS CHAIR DURING SCANNING THE VICTIM WILL LOSE HIS LIFE:(lolgically because he gets sliced in very lethal points) But after the scanning is complete the data can be transfered into the terminal of the robotic section and can be used there as a template to create a synthetic copy of it. All this are keeping secret from Father and Ayo. They and only one person more are only involved in this. The other person is Dr. Zimmer. But i Think he will die in Fallout 3 and is not relevant for our mod . only mentioning him will be enough.. Ok also some explanation why they started this project should be given... f.e. Father cure for Cancer and this was a possibility to reproduce a synthetic copy of him to keep him alive and sickless for the eternity.. But the project failed because also the 3rd Gen Synths are able to be a exact copy of the pacient but the implemented A.I . given to them are not equal to an from a Human... So they can do a lot of Things/jobs very whell but Father recognize that they are not good enough that a synth can be the Director of the Institute in his place. Also not if they have shared his hole brain informations. so this Quest should then End here.... the player knows who Father is and also that he is directly responsable for the dead of his child also like Dr. Ayo . i wil now explain the way you should play the game to get the option that should be here implemented... So at this point you can continue with the Minutemen quests until the Nuclear Option..... so end DEFEND the Castle Quest but not speak with Garvey at the Castle to start Nuclear Option.... the BOS Questline should be now at beginning of the AD Victoriam Quest. you can plug the agitator in Liberty Primes Head.. (but you should not activated the power switch. leave the Quest at this stage) continue now with the Pinned Quest of the Institute . Here the choice should be clear... (you need to convince the minutemen to stand down.) then speak with T.C. Walace and convince him to join and to go the institute.. Implement here a new mod miniquest (this quest should be triggered after the Pinned Quest and before the Powering Up Quest begins as a NEW trigger for Powering Up)...so Back to the Institute you need to speak with Wallace in the Advanced Systems section and show/give him the 2nd empty beryllum agitator that you found in Mass Fusion. He will say he can re-load it for you and will help you but he will need some material that you will procure... (something like nuclear material etc...). - after you procure the materials for Wallace you should give him 3 in-gamedays time and he will then give you back a full functioning 2nd Beryllum agitator. (This should end this MOD quest and Trigger the Institute Powering Up to be started as usual... -After Powering Up ends you come to the point where Railroad Underground Undercover Quest ends and also ENd of the Line Quest of the Institute begin. So after speaking with Father you should go WARN DESDEMONA about both dangers from BOS and the INSTITUTE. - this will then fail End of the Line and start PRECIPE of WAR for the Railroad. you should then play through Precipe of War until you get to the stage to go to the Cambridge Station . You should then not go there....and keep this stage-.. ( then you have a logically end also that you saw Glorys dead.)Here i will say add a trigger that if the player after 24 ingame hours doesn´t go to the Cambridge and speak with TIngerTom the Quest will automatically fail and BURNING COVER Will start. .. Ok now.. is the Point you should go and Start Nuclear Option with the Minutemen. (Talk to Preston. ) and play until you need to go to the C.I.T. Ruins:) . The beginning of Nuclear Option -Minutemen...should also Trigger the fail the Precipe of War Quest..if not that then pls..trigger the fail of the Quest also like the fail of Airship Down Quest if this will be activated. Also the Nuclear OptionStart should now trigger the Start of the Railroad Burning Cover Quest ). ..but instead to go to the C:I.T. ruins you go to the Prydwen and start there the already active AD VICTORIAM QUEST...(this should be active and not broken) follow then the questline until you are at the C.I.T. Ruins. (the stage before you jump in the hole and also the stage before you speak with MAXSON. Here we need some Modding.. so after Liberty Prime made the big HOLE should be a trigger of a other implemented quest by the mod... -- f.e. with the Name .The Revenge.. so this Quest will then spawn Dr.AYO in a full INSTITUTE Power Armor in front of you...also some Runners... after you defeat AYO in his Armor and kill the runners you will talk to the injuried Dr. Ayo.. That will scream as loud as he can that you are a traitor and betrayed the Institute... At this Point you will say him that you are knowing what happened to Shaun and Shaun was your Son and he can Goes to HELL. After Shooting him in the Head or whatever.. you should loot him and obtain a Institute Power Armor.... :smile:. By the way the next queststage should be that Maxson hear that AYO called you a Traitor and he will speak (needsome explanation) . The Result Options of this SPEAK should be here... 1.. You go then with the Brotherhood and Maxson in like the normal doing of the Quest AD Victoriam .. that ends and start Nuclear OPtion for the Brotherhood...as usual 2. the other is to convicve Maxson that you infiltrate the Institute because you wanted to know what happened to your Son and now that you know you will take Revenge on your own for this and promise him you will bring him Fathers Head or something else if he let you go alone in the Institute to take your Revenge as a Brotherhood Paladin will do.... If he accepts he will have then the notes (papers) you get from LIAM BINET and also Shauns Diary. He will then leave with a Vertibird the area and fly back to the Prydwen.. but will leave enough soldiers there to secure the HOLE and C.I:T Area also like the big ROBOT.... At this moment the Quest should ends.. and Trigger also an alternative Ending for AD Victoriam and trigger the fail of Nuclear Option with the Brotherhood. ... so at this Moment the only active faction Quest should be the Nuclear Option with the Minutemen at the stage where you need to go to the C.I.T Ruins. ( But you should can return "normal" to the Institute because you are not banished) . when you now decide to take revege by yourself is this the option to go back normal to the institue. ( as you know to do it not over the Hole from BOS or the tunnel from the Minutemen). So teleport you in. Once arrived should this trigger the Quest Nuclear Family to start and also Nuclear Option with the Minutemen to fail.. so you need to go to Father.and speak he will die.... blah blah blah .. so and that´s it in the big part.... you have a cool ending (Father dies of natural causes) you take your Revenge .. you are now the Director of the Institue and also allied with the other Factions.. Still General of the Minutemen, Paladin of the BOS , and Member or Hunter for the Railroad..... this End should be also a logical one.. because yes you go to the Institute back again to kill Father but ..he died already of natural causes before you could say him why you will kill him and kill him... this let you then be the Director without being banished from the Institute and also with all the Options in the Institute that you have as a director from the standard normal Game. - so this also should not Trigger the start of the Minutemenquest "With our Powers Combined"..... NO MOD Doing here.. but. for sure we need then to add a trigger that Start " In Sheep´s Clothing" as a SideQuest... also we need a new mini Quest mod for Maxson...so this Quest should explain Maxson via Dialog what we had done and what the future is.... f.e. that the Institute are now only a settlement of scientist that are interesting in coexistence and trade.. That we has closed The Synth Production Section and no more Synths will be produced at the HQ. That the Player is now the Director there.. then this Quest will end but trigger the Quest "A New Dawn" to start... Brotherhood is now safe with all he´s radiant quests after the End Railroad: - we need to trigger the start of the Questline "To the Mattresses" -we need to trigger the start of the Questline "Lost Soul" - In my oppinion "Variable Removal" Questlöine doesn´t need to be stopped and with this End "A Clean Equation" and "High Ground" should not Start and even should not be triggered to start. Minutemen: - we need to trigger the start of the Questline "Rogue Courser" - The Questline Ressetle Refugees" is not relevant anymore and i don´t think it should be triggered again to start. INSTITUTE: - because Dr. Ayo is Dead "Political Learnings" should be completed before this End. Also "Plugging a Leak" - The Access door to the Robotics Section should be locked now forever via the MOD. and the Questline "Pest Control" given by Alan Binet could now only be obtainable at night when you can speak with Alan in his Private Rooms. - so far so good the Synth Shaun should keep his place now in the Institute... As long as I know that should defintely be it...but instead of Institutes Patrols that can now be find randomly through the Commonwealth... Minutesmen Patrol should be activated instead... - Brian Virgil shoould now be back at the Institute and Work in his FEV labor again.. but htis Time only to cure the Virus... So that is my oppinion about such a scenario -mod... I think i can beat up with a good modder.. that he ends up the mod earlier as i needed time to write and test this scenario down.... :smile: so in less then 12 hours.... I hope i will see this mod coming up to live... and i have a idea about a improvement too .. ( Astory/questline after you choice this Ending...)
