saintjimmyz Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 You don't have to JOIN the thieves guild for fulfilling your mainquest, just collaborate with thatfilthy rat to incriminate someone and the thief will point you down to the ratway, saying theold man lives there and pay huge money for not telling people he's there (wasted money). crudius Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 I find the herding in a certain direction slightly annoying though on 4 chars i have played out the options on most of the groups/guilds you get the opportunity to join.... which leads me sadly to the DB. The one 'guild' you are free to join/abstain will a cool choice questwise....and there a bunch of right bookends!Im actually going to wipe them out on one playthrough. shame. Patronus Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 Yes, instead of speaking to Brynolf you can just speak to argonian female bartener of the Bee and barb, or even skip that and go straight into the ratways and beat Esbern's location out of the Ragged Flagon's guard.For those, who find Esbern voiceless: for me deleting Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini did the trick Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
