LotR Lurtz' Gear

My original post (edited in quotation)

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Hey there! I am planning on doing a let's play (a long while from now... when I get my new computer that can run Skyrim on more than low graphics >-<) as an Orc warrior with a white hand war paint and name him Lurtz. What I would like is for someone to make some good gear that I can get (and maybe if your feeling up to it a little 3-5 quest long chain to get all the pieces that I would get right at the beginning) that looks like Lurtz's (the orc who kills Boromir in LotR) gear. Light armor or heavy armor I don't care which but I would really prefer that it be possible to get early and the most difficult part (from a coding perspective, I code so I know) would be to have it scale in power with me as I level (like at the beginning it's got hide/iron power and it scales up so near the end it is daedric power type) I don't want the game to be easier I just want a special set of gear that I can keep and wear throughout the entire game. I don't know how you want to go about this or if anyone even will want to, but feel free to release it as a mod for everyone to use, I will also credit you at the beginning of the video AND (in case I forget to mention it) will give a link to the mods page and your name credited for the mod in the description of each video. Do remember this will be several months from now (probably not till midsummer/early fall this year :S) so if you do choose to do this you can do it in your spare time and just message me with updates as it goes on.

To get the idea of it you probably want to just watch the movie (it's the Fellowship of the Ring near the end if your wondering) but I'll also pm you some links to pictures that may help if you wanna pm me for em...

What I'm now asking for is someone artsy to help me, I'd love to do the art part but I am horrrrible! Anybody who would like to aide in this is welcome as well! If you want to help but don't want to actually work towards it (whether you want to see me working first or just don't feel like it) and you know of some good resources/guides that may help me mod Skyrim UP pm me their link! Even if you do physically help pm me links to guides anyways! I could always learn more!

So a quick recap of what I would really like to see/achieve

-Lurtz's Bow and Sword (I'll use w/e arrows I find)

-Lurtz's Armor & Boots & Gloves/Bracers (w/e they are)

-Some sort of head ornament, your choice what but I know he doesn't wear a helm (feel free to make a helm but be prepared for a veto, I'd like his face and stuff to be visible...)

-All gear to scale properly with my level (without breaking the game, if it happens to be difficult I can *shhhh* lower the difficulty *GASP* (I'll be playing on Masters btw))

/\/\ Required except helm /\/\

\/\/ Optional \/\/

Things to add in if time allows

-Accessories (ring/amulet that add an extra boost that are sidequests/hidden in the world idk)

-Short questline gained early on (hard to avoid getting it) to get the gear

-A character model in the orc presets, I may or may not use this, probably will though especially if it looks beast!

-Other gear used by the heroes/villains in LotR, I guess if you want, I won't use it, but you could than let others be like Legolas or Aragon or Sauron or w/e. (or Gandalf can't forget him)

-Easter eggs/secrets that you are not required to tell me about, they may NOT be game breaking...

-New enemies to fight in the world (preferably LotR related)

-Anything else you think might be cool just ask me before hand please.

Thank you very much anyone who has the time and patience to do this and deal with my crazy style!

EDITS!!!

a mod such as this they work in a give and take sorta way, IE someone makes the meshes you texture and rig or whatever.

Yep yep! Makes total sense pwned! When I first typed this out I was tired and not thinking straight. I did attempt to explain that I would help buuuut I didn't do so well. As pwned suggests I will

browse around the community acting like a sponge learning all you can about modding and then tackling this yoursel

I already know coding logic and such, I've coded in Java and C++ and (SOME) python, hopefully I will be able to get started!

I'm BAWS!

Never actually said it but I agree! Pwned thanks for the little push and the help you gave me :P

I understand that your "rudeness" perhaps not the right word to use if from external stressors but something to understand is when asking for a mod such as this they work in a give and take sorta way, IE someone makes the meshes you texture and rig or whatever. what your asking for is someone to create all of this for you without any work or real input on your part, written like a commission. So you have to understand that unless someone wants the idea as you you most likely wont see this, the time it takes to model texture rig test fix retest ect. is a lot more than anyone would want to spend on something that they really dont want for themselves. however I recommend that you browse around the community acting like a sponge learning all you can about modding and then tackling this yourself it would be more rewarding in the end and much more to what you vision.

Thanks a lot for the advice and I understand that, looking at my post I feel silly but still... The whole segment (one little parenthesis lol) on me probably putting some work into it was (I think... I don't entirely know what was meant by what) meant to be saying that I will be doing exactly what you suggested, in fact right before I came here I had opened the Modders Resources section of the Skyrim nexus. Thanks a lot for clearing that up and thanks for the advice/criticism! lol
