googly eyes with beautiful people 2.7

Hello,

I'm trying to install my firsts mods for Oblivion, and, of course, I'm experiencing some issues.

Initially, I just wanted to have the savegame for the Mystic Elf Sia working. That is installing Beautiful People 2.7, Sora 4 Hairs pack, and the merged esp from the savegame.

A couple of issues and a fresh install of Oblivion later, I decided to just installBeautiful People 2.7, which includes the Ren's Mystic Elves, and try my own character creation.

However, if I managed to see the new races in the character creation phase, almost all of them have weird eyes (exept the Ainmhe). The pupil is too low, and the bottom part of 'a second pupil' appears from the upper part of the eye (I'll try to post a screen shot after).

As stated in the requirements for BP 2.7, I've installed the Unoffical Patchs (standard, Shivering Ilse, and Official Mod).

By the way, during activation of the omod for the unofficial patch for shivering isle, if i select the option "use the optional USIPS changes", i got an error message about an unexpected argument at some line of the script.. Don't thing this could be the reason of the weird eyes, but if you need the message, i'll post it).

I'm using Oblivion mod manager, and i tried BOSS too.

See my load order in attachments.

Soo.. If I could be helped understanding how to solve this issue, and perhaps how to have the Sia savegame works, it would be great.

I'm running the Steam version of Oblivion v1.2.0412, with the DLCs (seen in the load order), under Windows Seven.

EDIT2 : Well, I've cleaned again my data folder, and recreated an omod combining beautiful people 2.7, Soya 4 hair (but the english version, not the german one this time) and used the .esp provided with Sia's savegame, and it seems to work correctly this time...

I'm a bit lost, and if someone can give me tips for understandings, or for knowing where to start to learn how to modify or fix .esp files, i'm all ears opened.

Thanks a lot for your help

First off, Oblivion and the CS are still buggy to say the least. Just opening the CS and creating a mod that does nothing has a chance to mess up your game. That being said, if you didn't set the date on the BSA files to something prior to 2006, that could be an issue, as steam likes to set them to use the date of the install. Secondly, there is a patch that fixes googly eyes, but not sure what the name of it is at the moment. you can search TES Nexus for googly and find it.

Lastly, if you aren't using Wrye Bash, you should look into that as it has the ability to merge and import mods to make them play better together. Wyre Bash is a little tough to get started with, but well worth the effort when you get the hang of it.
