Apimil
Hello, I have a problem that I have seen treated quite often here but so far none of the solutions proposed ever worked for me.Everytime I install a mod with custom sounds, those won't work in game. For example the radio messages in the "prelude to vault 273" mod are silent, and most weapons mods too.I've been trying to do as other said, aka download manually the files and replace the sounds files manually, as well as verifying that they worked, and I can read them from the folders they're in. But no sounds play in game.I have recently uninstalled my game and did a clean install on another hard drive, as well as made sur nmm was installed on the same hdd, but since that install, no custom sounds from mods would play. Symlinks or not, the files never play in game.My falloutcustom.ini is set according to the indications on the nexxus. I also modified later the other ones, but nothing has changedI hope someone can give me a new idea of what could possibly be causing that. Thanks for reading ! steve40
Try changing the sound quality and #speakers in the Windows sound control panel. My falloutcustom.ini is set according to the indications on the nexxus. That's a pretty vague and assumptive statement. There are various instructions out there, some are obsolete or incorrect. Tbh it sounds like the game is not reading your sounds file path. Edited October 15, 2016 by steve40

I'm going to try changing sound quality, thanks !
