Cant save, help!

Ok so I bought this game a couple of days ago and started doing some mod installing. Im almost positive that I installed all the mods correctly, however, I guess there is a chance that the mods could be conflicting but they all seem to be working fine... anyhow here is the problem.

 

I was playing my new character and I wanted to save so I hit esc and then clicked on Save and then New Save. I stopped for a bit and then came back to play later and my save wasn't there. Luckily I had an autosave that was very close to my previous save. So I tried some tests and saved again.... nothing. I even tried to override a save file on a character that I was no longer using and it deleted that save file but didn't save the current one. My quicksave "f5" will work but it isn't sufficing because if I switch to another character and accidently autosave... there goes my character down the drain.

 

Another problem I have is when I'm on the Main Menu and I go to Exit Game. It freezes for a bit and then the game just crashes. I don't know if this is related to the other problem or not. Seems like some very odd issues going on.

 

If it helps, here are some of my mods. "Improved Environment", "Nude Women", "Apachii's Shop", "Thieves Tools", "Midas Magic", "Ren's Guard Overhaul", "Improved Facial Textures", "New Elven Race", and a couple more I can't think of. These aren't all the real names either I dont think.

 

So does anyone know why I can't save? It basically ruins the whole game experience not being able to save. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
