Skyrim's Sound Engineer is a moron. Total imbalance

What age are you? Do you have any idea what it takes to soundtrack a game? You can probably do a better job, right?

I do sound design myself and I believe it is one of Skyrim's strongest points. Yes there are some flaws, but dismissing all that effort so blithely and rudely makes you look ridiculous.

The only problems I have with Skyrim's sound design are the "DONG!" every time I find something, Dragonshouts are drawn out like "fus......RO DAH!" rather than the consistent shouts we heard in the trailer, and the voice acting is a little too quiet in comparison to other in game sounds. There are many places they did really well though. The sound of weapon impacts on shields, Dwemer automations, flesh, etc. sounds very good. Also the magic sounds powerful and seems to carry an impact to it rather than the "BZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzZZZZzzzzeewww" whenever you cast a spell in Morrowind or the underwhelming fluttery sound spells made in Oblivion. Lastly there seem to be these little audio cues like when shits about to go down, you clear out an area, or the smooth transitions in and out of combat music which are really cool. I am not going to say I am blown away but I am not disappointed either. Jeremy Soule (composer who does the music for the Elder Scrolls) put together a rock solid soundtrack and Mark Lampert (Main sound dude for Bethesda) did a decent job all things considering. I personally love the sound of Skyrim. I have little to none problem with it. The quality is great, I have my PC hooked up to Cambridge Audio system. :P

However I agree with eviltrain. Sounds are not balanced well. Some really need volume adjusting, some reducing. That would really improve the overall experience.

So far it is like. The waterfall is there, but it sounds small. Footsteps are there, but where the hell are they comming from?

My guess is they did not have time to balance everything well due to the magnitude.
