Loss of persistence was a big ? a few months back according to Bethesda developers. Quests & Dialog scripts come to mind for me when I saw it. If that reference is set to a child for example or maybe even this ID is changed from baby to adult, based on some unknown activity that you did in the wasteland. Though it's adult an sounds like baby, I would definitely investigate if this was some super mutant troll creation by way of FEV injection. XD I think it would be loss of persistence really, that just means the CPU forgot about it for one reason or another, that or the big ??? reason why it seems to happen as glitch. After that I would think it would be related to either mods being created poorly or mods just generally being messy. So you could try cleaning it up with xEdit, but be careful an make backups. Then again, you could just keep loading that savegame (I hope it's a full save) an hope the system will resolve that particular issue automatically. Because it could also be a loading glitch or partially/fully corrupted savegame. I know you could test it. Ditch the mods or backup install an run a vanilla game to test that particular issue then drop some stress testing on it. You would have to backup everything though so you didn't lose anything. You might could even experiment with clean save. Disabling mods an dumping player inventory, then try to load it vanilla on a existing savegame. I typically stay away from that or any changes in load order, unless it's just edits or additions to the end. I'd go run a search on YouTube, that might be a better way to find stuff.
