Bug at Kvatch maybe?

Went through the tunnels and opened up the courtyard. The fighters ran in and everyone died except the main captain guy.

When I talk to him, he just says something about needing to storm the courtyard and kill everything.

So I assume the game kinda glitched there since the quest wont move forward. I even went into the castle and killed everything but hes still just standing there. Any ideas?

Are you doing the quest "Breaking the siege of Kvatch" or "Battle for Castle Kvatch" ? It is not clear from your post.

Yup, this is a bug which wasn't fixed by Bethesda, it seems if the captains gets unconsious to many times, or even if he gets onconsious ones, he can be bugged (Most of the time it doesn't happen)

But it's pretty annoying, if you're doing the quest at L1/2 you and the guard (+3 Imperial soldiers)

Should do fine clearing the area out without (to many) casulties
