ZombieInfected
Orcish Shield weighs 14.With Warrior Stone active, I currently have a carry weight of 398/410.No changes in carry weight weather I equip it or not, just armor rating. (All fine and dandy)Now, If I activate the Steed Stone I have a carry weight of 339/510, but equipping the shield my carry weight go down to 384/510 -14!So carrying it the inventory is heavier than equipping it, with the Steed Stone ?? Is this normal? I think it's strange. Edit: Just tested the Steel Shield - Same effect. Edited December 12, 2011 by ZombieInfected
ZombieInfected
Am I really the only one experiencing this?I find it strange, that a heavier shield lets you carry more, if you equip it. Dual wielding shields would come in handy, if I need to carry a s**tload of stuff.
Shantih
The Steed stone adds 100 to your character's weight capacity and it makes any equipped armour weightless. Shields qualify as armour pieces so there doesn't seem to be a problem here.
ZombieInfected
Okay, well - seems wierd having it in inventory and then it's suddenly heavier than equipped. Another strange thing though:My follower had ebony gauntlets - I had some enchanted ebony gauntlets, which I wanted to give him instead.I take the ones he have, but the enchanted ones are too heavy for him. Okaaay, fine I think, he can have the old ones back.Nope they are also too heavy all of a sudden. At other times I can't run even though I have equipped my shield. So I un-eqip, re-equip, un-eqip, re-equip and then I can run. The steed stone is bugged, and I stopped using it.
