Purplynne
Does anyone know why sometimes I can delete files from the mod manager and sometimes I can't? Where you right click on a mod in the manager and select "uninstall or delete" then select Delete mod (permanently) and uninstall. Sometimes it will delete the mod sometimes it does nothing. I can't figure out why.
bill8872
Never had that happen, but I have had it take a few minutes to delete a mod. Edited October 17, 2016 by bill8872
Purplynne
Yes that happens too. sometimes, pretty sure it depends on the size of the mod, it takes a few to delete i. But a lot of times it does nothing.
SharraShimada
Its heavy releated to the filesize and to the number of files in in. For example, an texture overhaul may take "forever" to delete. There are several gigabytes of thausend of small filles. And the more you uninstall in a bunch, the longer it takes NMM to kill them. Seems something gets stuck in the process. There is only one solution at the time. Just wait to end one process before starting the next.
Purplynne
No that's not it. When its working it does exactly like you say. You can see the green bar showing the progress and down at the bottom it shows the que. There are many times when it just will not delete the file. I can't figure out why it sometimes works and sometimes it wont. Also since the latest NMM update it will not let me download a duplicate of a file but that's another issue
Davva241
I've noticed this too. Some mods behave different when interacting with the NMM. I guess it's not the Manager but these Mods that are causing this. Could you give an example?
