urhumblenarrator
So I was playing, and I noticed that the damage for my swords were much lower than usual. To my dismay, my one-handed was at 25, in red numbers. Prior to that, it was at 91. I have no diseases, no effects that would cause this. I was thinking, that since I was a werewolf or using ancient shrouded armor, maybe a glitch happened where I still got the effects of a poison or something of that nature but the spell wasn't shown due to an immunity, but the effect was still there, but never went away since there was no spell. I'll recap: My character is a werewolf and I usually wear ancient shrouded armor (30x backstab bonus is just too good), so I have immunity to diseases and poisons. After some general adventuring stuffs, I noticed my one-handed was at 25, and the numbers were red. There are no active effects that are causing this. Theory: effect of poison or disease added, with no actual poison or disease added, so the effect never goes away. Just want to know how to fix it.Thanks for reading. Handofbane
There was a bug shortly after release that caused basically the same thing to happen to weapon skills (or some others as well). There was no solution really found besides toughing it out and trying to get another skillup in that skill - gaining a point seemed to reset it and put the skill back at where it was supposed to be. Note: I am not certain if buying a skillup from a trainer will work or not, you could always try it and see.

urhumblenarrator
Handofbane, that worked, thanks. The trainers I went to don't train above 90, so I just bashed on a whole bunch of bandits. Once it went up a level it all went back to normal.
