Suddenly getting a bunch of problems in the game, missing items, can't pick up certain objects etc.

So,

First off, I'm sorry if this is considered to be in the wrong section. Please, by all means, move if you want to if that is the case.

I played Fallout 4 yesterday fine, but today I decided to update a bunch of mods that were out-of-date.
So, I downloaded them, installed, done. But, since I was doing that, I thought I might as well see how ENB graphical enhancement (along with custom presets found on nexusmods) works for me, along with some graphical improvement mods, now that I've got my new hardware.
So I downloaded those mods, installed, no problems.

But, when I went into the game, I noticed some problems, some, not necessarily game breaking, but very tedious and annoying, since I'm a perfectionist and I don't want my game to not properly work.

First problem I encountered was that the Grape Mentats recipe was missing from the Chemistry Station, but since I had not crafted them in a while, I assumed there was a mod I added recently that removed it, although I don't know which it could possibly be, and I can't think of a mod that would do that, that I didn't read the description of.

Second problem, I couldn't sit on the barber chair in Diamond City, the game made a sound, like you know when you aim nowhere and you press activate, that sound. I have no idea what causes this.

Third problem, I found a Bobby Pin Box, and usually when you grab it you get some bobby pins, right? Well, it played that sound again, it didn't want to take them, so I told my follower to do it and they succeeded. No mods I've downloaded "should" cause this.

Fourth problem, same as third but with Caps Stash, follower could pick that up too.

Fifth problem, you know the paint mixer in Hardware Town? That doesn't work for me. The menu popped up and I clicked "Make Green Paint" or whatever it said, but it didn't do anything, didn't even take the blue and yellow paint I had in my inventory. And activating it again doesn't even make the menu appear.

I'm really confused about these sudden random problems. I mean, sure they could've been there for a long time, at least some of them. (Not the caps stash one, though, I picked up caps stashes yesterday).

I'm not sure if too high memory settings in enblocal.ini would cause any "hiccups".
The VRAM size test program, made by the ENB creator himself, suggested I have 27232MB memory total to work with on my system. (It's not just VRAM, he made ENB so it could use other system memory as well, still 27232 seems a bit much considering I only have 16GB RAM and 4GB VRAM).
But, I put the value to 20480, just to avoid some problems, considering I installed 4K textures. (which I have 60FPS with BTW, wp Intel i7 6700K)
Or can too extreme graphical mods, like the 4K textures, ENB presets and reshader, etc. cause problems? I doubt it, but asking just in case.

Can anyone find the problem?

P.S. I'm gonna try lesser memory settings in ENB, but I doubt it'll fix it.

The bobby pin and caps stash problems seem to be fixed by just restarting, weird.

But, now I've noticed another problem. Ada, the first robot you meet from the Automatron DLC can't give me junk items. She uses dialogue as if she has some and tries to give it to me, but I don't get anything and the next time I speak with her the dialogue is still there. This seems very peculiar. And since I don't know in which cell the problem arose, I cannot load the corresponding save...

Same thing here. Got a fresh game install with fresh mods and a fresh save. Can't pick up bobby pins, can't disarm traps, and survival effects don't seem to apply to me, didn't get hungry or thirsty once.

You both have a problem generally related to animations. Somthings is getting stuck, and if that happens, no other animation can run the way it should. And then, the action will be abborted, due to error.

Try removing mods related to animations, like smoking, or lowered weapons.

Will this fix the problem? So we can just install the mods afterwards and then it's fine? Or will we be unable to use these mods ever?

Maicol, i dont know, if its fixing your problems, so you should try, because its possible.

If its the problem, reactivate one at a time.

 

Its sure possible, you identify one mod, that conflicts with your setup. Then you can do your homework and identify the collission, or dont use this mod. Yes there are setups, that cant run different mods, for what reason whatsoever. It will cost a huge amount of work and time to identify the problem.

I decided to uninstall all mods, cleanse the data folder from non-vanilla/DLC files, made a clean save, installed all mods again, and now they work.

Only downside to this is that my latest save doesn't work, and not the one before that or before that, meaning I had to revert back to a 6 hours 5 levels younger save. Unfortunate, but worth it.

 

This can be closed now.
