tazburg Posted October 19, 2016 Share Posted October 19, 2016 Ive recently uninstalled and then reinstalled both FO 4 and the Nexus Mod Manager,Im getting a message that they are experiencing a issue with their download location, then gives a link to D/L manually.But im unsure on where to place it, In the FO 4 folder that's in the Steam folder or in the Data Folder ?Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

damanding Posted October 19, 2016 Share Posted October 19, 2016 Actually to be really technical, you can download the zipped/rar'd mod file from Nexus to anywhere on your computer. Open up NMM and select the install from archive option. Browse to your saved mod directory and point it to the zip/rar file. It will then automatically unpack and install all the files to the appropriate locations in Data for you. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SMB92 Posted October 20, 2016 Share Posted October 20, 2016 You can also manage manually installed mods with Wrye Flash. Extract the files to folder, name the folder after the mod, put in bash installer folder, install via Wrye Flash. This way you can still monitor file conflicts and it will reinstall any old files that have been overridden when you uninstall mods, just like NMM.
