fFFVIIGod
Hey everyone, So I decided to start playing Fallout again, after I got most of the DLC, so I started a new character on Survival Mode, and what do you know, most of my mods are no longer working. I checked and updated all of the ones that needed updating, verified my cache integrity and even checked my old save. I would say that nearly all of my texture mods are gone and most of the weapon mods do not function properly anymore (BFG 9000 no longer actually fires but does the animation for example) Can anyone provide me with some assistance. I included a snapshot of my mods and load order. Thanks again everyone! Edited October 19, 2016 by fFFVIIGod
bill8872
Depending on how long you have been away, some might no longer be compatible with the latest version.
fFFVIIGod
Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm stumped....someone on the Bethesda forums suggested that Survival Mode doesn't allow most mods, but my old save is not in survival mode and it's the same way as well. The Quicksave mod and character texture mods, including CBBE, are working, but no environmental textures (such as Fallout 4 seasons and enhanced grass) are showing up. I've uninstalled them and reinstalled them, started it through both the fallout launcher and FSE launcher. This is truly getting saddening and frustrating.... fFFVIIGod
I think I figured it out. I had to go back into the .ini files reset them, disable all mods and launch the game via vanilla launcher. Closed the game, reconfigured the .ini files win both falloutprefs.ini and falloutcustom.ini (I figured out I hadn't moved from fallout.ini with the modified lines). After I did this I reactivated all my mods, and the big ones that weren't working (more grass and fallout seasons, spring) showed up as soon as I loaded up. It's so beautiful now! (Although I still have a few mods, particularly weapon mods, to test out on my old save)I hope this helps others who had/have/have had a similar issue!
