wpphili
Bonjour, I know this problem has been around for quite some time now BUT, I could not find any valid fix besides the manual install. Let say I install the excellent SCAR-H mod, I get the weapon but sounds of reload and shooting are very low, barely earable. Let say I install Towbie's Realistic Weapon Sounds, then all my weapons sounds are low. My NNM install is on SSD on C: as well as my Fallout installation. If I install mods manually I get the sound working properly but I don't like this workaround. Is there any "patch" or "fix" that works with NNM or anyone has any idea of what the problem really is? bill8872
This is a mod issue, maybe NMM as well.I find a few mods just don't install correctly, so I have to manually install them.
wpphili
Ok, here's how I was installed. The Fallout installation was on D with a symlink to the C so the files were actually on the C drive. What I did is scrap everything (again!). Removed Fallout, saves, inis, Nexus Mod Manager, etc Reinsralled from scratch directly on the C, no messing with symlink and other drives. Now, I just exited the Vault and installed Towbie's mod as my first mod and the sound is now perfect. Will see along the road if this change anything. bill8872
I have read many times NMM, and the game's it supports must be on the same drive, or install issues can happen.
