TheMango55 Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) Currently necromancers have many severe disadvantages compared to atronoch summoners. Lack of corpses to start battles, time it takes to raise dead, scarcity of undead help against many bosses, etc. The most severe however are undead not being able to transition between zones and turning to ash when they die. Atronoch summoners don't face either of these issues, if their summon dies they can get a new one instantly. There's certainly no lore to back up undead turning to ash, and even in-game dialogue backs up being able to raise undead multiple times (necromancers at Ustengraav raising bandits again and again to mine). If someone could change this it would be fantastic. Even if you can't get them to not die when transitioning between zones, if they didn't turn to ash at least we could raise them again.
