Crash upon entering Prospector Saloon

Running a pretty heavily modded game. Been getting either a ctd or an infinite loading screen (infinite loading screen's first appeared after I got New Vegas Anti Crash) every single time I enter The Prospector Saloon in Goodspring's. What's weird is I've gotten into the Saloon before by loading the auto save left after the failed entry attempt, before, but not if I actually enter through the door...

 

If I disable Goodspring's Filler it seems to work, but I was wondering if maybe I could resolve the crash with a load order fix since nobody else seems to be having this issue with the mod, plus I don't have any other mods that should conflict with the Saloon.

Would love to know if it's possible to fix the crash while keeping my current mods, or at least Goodsprings Filler.

That number of mods (barely half the cap) should not be a problem, as long as you do not have a bunch of "inactive" mods in the "Data" folder as well. How much system RAM do you have? Check out this in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod conflict Troubleshooting" guide for some options to make better use of what memory you have.

 

You would also benefit from using a "merge patch" file. Check out this sub-topic in the "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.

Thanks for the reply.

 

I tried getting New Vegas Stutter Remover and messing around with the different values in the .ini as you suggested. Also made a merged patch and a bashed patch along with a few other fixes. I thought for sure something would work but I still have the same exact problem, guess I really do have to disabled the mod.

Try loading your entire "load order" (with the BP disabled and it's deactivated plugins activate) into "FNVEdit". Then look at the "Goodsprings Filler" mod to see what conflicts there may be. If you are not familiar with FNVEdit, it can be downloaded from here and the tutorial can be downloaded from here.
