Yes, there are hundreds of mods that address this. Most throw out what Bethesda made (one word only).

 

Here is my solution. Reverse the hack level to the mini game level.

 

So a novice terminal will have long words. And Master will have sort words.

 

This in my option this preserves what Bethesda try to make and addresses difficulty issues.
