SaintAnon
As of late I've been hunting down all the shouts with the help of the Greybeards; and I've begun to stash my gear inside the chest you place Klemmik's Supplies in, is this safe or am i risking my loot? Nekrafilia
BUMP Got a lot of valuable and irreplaceable loot in here, and the topic fell to page two with no views... Thanks for the tip. Gunna raid your loot when I get home :pirate: To answer your question, if it's not a player owned chest, it might be susceptible to a respawn of contents that may send your valuables into the bit bucket forever. Then again, they may be perfectly safe. It's a risk you'll have to assume. However 5k for a house in Whiterun isn't hard to save up for and get the security of storage plus more of it. If you are on the pc you can always create your own chests (player owned) if need be.
SaintAnon
Yeah I've got several houses already, but I have just been using it for conveniences sake to deposit the loot I got from the last dungeon crawl before asking the Greybeards for the location of my next Word of Power. So far I'm going on two and a half days of doing this without any problems, guess I'll move my irreplaceable gear, artifacts and masks to a house and just leave the random loot and potions. I'm hoping this chest is safe; due to the fact its empty by default and the "Klemmik's Supplies" I placed in it as a Misc quest never disappeared from within it. Tweetybird
Word to the wise, bumping topics tends to annoy the powers that be. That said, they might be good for a day or two but I'd rather store in a house. Edited December 14, 2011 by Tweetybird

Yeah I been around forums long enough to know how things work; that being said seeing as it fell down to topic number eight as soon as i posted it and then fell to the second page not two minutes later without getting one view, I was pretty sure it would count as one of those rare occasions that a bump is justified. lol UPDATE: Decided to do some testing with it and took out all but around 20k value of random dungeon loot waited 200+ hours fast traveled a bunch, turned off my system loaded another save then loaded my main save waited another 100 hours fast traveled back and not a thing was missing. Think I just found a safe chest within 15 foot of a fast travel spot and far enough away from civilization people will not rob it. Edited December 14, 2011 by SaintAnon
Thandal
And now it's a Locked Topic, and will not get any responses at all. The people who frequent the Nexus look past the first page. The people who don't, don't. But the Dark0ne's policies are clear. See here for a refresher if you've forgotten: All newbies read this before posting, especiailly "Chapter II - Spam".
