I think it might be due to Vivid weather adding too much particles or something. I decreased the number of particles to 40 after getting a CTD, but I got a freeze for some reason. However, because it froze instead of crashing, I think it might have been caused by another mod.

 

What can I do to make Skyrim more stable? I don't care about graphics.

I heard/read some info from some people discussions. Your freezing issues probably due to overheating. Check your PC temperature. Try using better cooling system.

i doubt it. I play Overwatch 24/7 and Skyrim never uses a lot of CPU.

Is there anything I can do to my Skyrim.ini to make it MORE stable? I am thinking changing
