Merge Lockpick/Pickpocket, add Runecrafting in its place

EDIT: Mods, This isn't really a request for help more of a request for feedback. But if you think it would be better in Mod Talk you can move it there.

So I can't call this a work in progress because I don't plan to start until the construction set comes out.

First mission would be to merge the skills Lockpicking and Pickpocket, two skills that are notorious for not being super useful and seriously gimping you in combat, into one skill that would be worth taking since it doesn't force too many skill points and perks into non-combat. Here's a mockup of the potential perk tree.

All the perks are basically the same as the ones currently in the game. "Safecracker" replaces the perks "novice locks,""apprentice locks," and so on with a static 20, 30, and 60% bonus chance to pick all locks. Honestly who needs a perk to make novice locks easier to pick? That was the most useless perk in the game by far. Also Misdirection and Perfect Touch are merged into one perk.

Now, as for Runecrafting:

It would basically be a utility skill that can do all kinds of things. It has some spell like abilities, some crafting, even some summons. To keep it from being overpowered these effects are usually weaker and more expensive than their normal crafting and casting counterparts, but they are different.

Runes would all be in dragon language, and the armor and weapons you make would be covered with glowing blue dragon language runes. The armor you craft would often do things like amplify or reduce cooldown for shouts, and the runes you cast (which would be like the runes in destruction) would often have shout-like abilities, for example freezing enemies in ice form or blasting them away like unrelenting force. The master level Runecasting ability would be to create a permanent magical construct, it would basically be a scaled down Dwarven Centurion colored silver with glowing blue runes on it. My idea for the creation would be 1 Centurion Core, 1 grand soul gem, and a bunch of silver and a few moonstone ingots, these would create a staff that has 1 charge of a unique spell (which would summon the construct) and be non-rechargable.

Any other ideas for runecrafting would be great also. I can do modifying things in the Construction Set (assuming it's like previous ones) and I can do skins, but I'm no modeler.

Sounds good, but I've all ready maxed out my Pickpocket and Lockpicking skill trees, so it might cause glitches unless someone starts a new character, so perhaps just adding a new perk tree would be better?
