Purr4me
Speaking of which. All that would assume the OP has run an amount of vanilla game testing on more than one new game start and/or a clean backup savegame, hypothetically at least, and on various O/S builds/installs chocked full of foundation software. Which I'd imagine wasn't the case, it almost never is I feel. As indicated by extensive testing with various differences in stability of new game starts in various builds, then what Purr4me said. With the results being significantly varied, that's why.Go back to page 1 and read the discussion, that will clear your mind. Currently here it stands as a technical discussion, and that will change pretty darn fast.we want to not make this "Toxic", Just dead on, all the work has already been done, we just need to see where the issue IS. IT might be a what, it might be a deed, and it might even be reconfigured data in 1 mod or an asset. It can even be conflicting edits in scripting. But only Nuka DLC. has those and we can eliminate these things due to the tests I conduct.Here...please keep focus and not spam the thread with needlessness.I am at 14% with the install from steam of the game. BipolarOne
Don't put all your eggs in one basket? Testing, configuration, or build would be hundreds of hours. So I mean 80 hours on a stutter problem isn't that much. Though, if you had other games it could distract your focus. Pass the time until it gets fixed maybe. Move on, nevar, watch "The Neon Demon" yah yah sureeeeee. :D I have read the whole topic. You could have just said "F*** You Leave" the way you worded that. It was a fun topic and I had fun posting here. I guess that changes when I get my D*** slapped for trying to participate. Best of luck to you all. Bruhmis
I recorded video of the stutter, it's uploading. it's not as easy to see the stutter in the video as it is in the game, and the amount of stuttering was somewhat lower compared to what it usually is - but you can see it very clearly in certain spots. I realize there is a spot in the game, however, there might be too much concentrated heat build up on the drive where the data sits.. ssd's are not much different than the chip sets in phones that fail due to heat build up, and there might be a cooling problem too. I am @ 52 % of the game install at the moment. Heat might be the issue, it fits the conditions too.just a suggestion as to what might be. there is a place that indicates heavy data flow. Bruhmis
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWa2qlVIsUw&feature=youtu.be&ab_channel=BruhmAltvery noticeable around 0:38, then throughout the video. when the game is holding 60 fps, you can see the frame counter in the top right reading 59 whenever the stutter occurs (sometimes lower if the stutter lasts longer). Not to be confused with the instances of sustained lower FPS which occur at some points throughout the video.

I don't know how to monitor the heat of my ssd, or if that's even possible. now, when you refer to "places in the game", are you referring to a location in the game's map? or do you mean sectors of the games data, or something like that. Purr4me
The video shows instances of spawn rates, more of them at points when entering cells and you traverse through the world space, more dense population of data, creatures and triggered responses from scripts for NPC and actionable encounters, at those points it clearly shows the processes are flooded or are at the point of over running the ram. fast system for sure. Your points of stutter ate at cell transitions. Heavy loaded areas. That is normal.Boy, your really moving fast too.
Purr4me
within the games world space, there are invisible walls you pass through, some of these walls are huge, cover a lot of area. some are no so big but are triggers for spawns to occur. Purr4me
you can obtain at the PC store a thermal unit that has these tiny strips, these strips have glue on them to lay on the ssd surfaces and a tray with gauges you can use to monitor the heat rates of the ssd drive. Thermal couples. There clearly is nothing wrong with the games software. You have it peaked pretty well. we can't see the data rates in this by any indicators but we can see the performances. excellent processing. Bruhmis
the stutter isn't consistent, I tried to record for long enough to capture some of the more severe stuff, but the video was getting pretty long. the clip you're seeing is one of the milder sessions I've had in terms of stutter - sometimes it will literally freeze for 3-5 seconds, and repeat that a few times every minute.it does seem to be influenced by the loading of objects - but it doesn't *require* the loading of objects. sometimes it'll stutter when it's loading nothing but dead trees and grass textures.and again, this comes back to the main point: the game is not supposed to be like this, it wasn't doing this to me a couple months ago. it might look "normal" in the video, but it's not.I increased the movement speed to try to trigger as much stutter as possible within a short video. what ended up happening instead is the game just started loading everything very slowly.
